Heading his own 25-people strong management consultant company since 2005, he has performed several strategic missions for international telecom service and technology providers in Europe, Americas, Africa and Asia.

Prior to that as a General Business Development Manager for Nokia Ventures Organization based in Finland, Luc Francis headed a 650m€ business investment fund responsible for developing technology and new businesses bringing mobile multimedia services to consumers. A respected brand authority with over 22 years of market making experience, Luc has been a driving force in Nokia's efforts of addressing the mobile multimedia markets.

Previously, Luc Francis had joined Nokia in 1996 as Account Director of Nokia Networks, taking care of infrastructure sales in the Benelux region. In this position, he was directly involved in designing and fine-tuning the business cases and business models of several of today’s leading Mobile Telecom Operators in Europe.

Prior to joining Nokia, Luc held a variety of management positions at Eupen Cabelworks where he concluded several important contracts with the Telenet group, one of the leading European quadruple play cable operators.

Luc Francis as an active Business Angel has participated to the creation of numerous successful Hi-Tech start-ups and serves on the board of several companies in the IT and Media industry.

Education: Luc Francis holds an MSc Engineering degree in Micro-electronics from Ecole Centrale des Arts et Métiers and a Postgraduate in Management from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management.

Publications: Luc has published numerous articles and gave hundreds international presentations and inspiring speeches on the future of the Mobile Telecom Industry and the strategic developments around the areas of Mobile Marketing and Mobile Payments.
